The Department of Art
Our building is located in the Arts Quarter on the West Bank where Music, Theatre, Dance, and Art, including the Katherine E. Nash Gallery, comprise an integrated community of the arts. Collaboration takes place throughout the Arts Quarter, and enthusiasm for the arts on campus increases with each new interaction.

Support Art Student Scholarships
You can join the campaign to support students like Miles. As an incentive to encourage giving to the University of Minnesota's Art Scholarship Fund, we are pleased to acknowledge our donors at specific gift levels with a limited edition screen print from Miles Mendenhall or Drew Peterson. View images or give."Students who receive scholarship support are empowered to take more chances and investigate art more deeply because they are financially less burdened. The fact that there were donors investing in the future of their artistic community gave me a confidence in myself that I would not have otherwise had."
- Miles Mendenhall, curator and presenting artist
